Deaf model Nyle DiMarco made history on Tuesday night as he was crowned the victor of "Dancing with the Star's" 22nd season, stunning judges with more than his looks. Ginger and Val treated viewers to a repeat performance of their Argentine Tango. Despite stellar reviews and having the highest total from the judges this season, VanZant ended up second to Nyle DiMarco, a deaf "America's Next Top Model" victor.
While all the finalists were flying overnight to NY to appear Wednesday on Good Morning America, Zee was also heading back to the office. Despite being deaf and unable to either hear music or feel its vibrations, the America's Next Top Model victor wowed the judges with his eloquent delivery and continuously improving technical skill.
DiMarco has made a name for himself as an advocate for the deaf community.
"Dancing with the Stars" season 23 will air in September with a new celebrity cast of competitors.
