Speculation won't affect star Arsenal duo, says Arsene Wenger

I love it here, I love all the staff, the cooks, the employees that do so much for us.

Sanchez signed for Arsenal from Barcelona in the summer of 2014 for £30million and has become a fans' favourite at the Emirates, where he is contracted until 2018.

The Gunners are said to be in contract renewal negotiations with the Chilean, whose contract expires in 18 months, but reports in the British media have claimed a Chinese Super League club is ready to offer him £400,000-a-week deal.

Dialogue between the player's representatives and the club are ongoing, with Arsenal still hopeful.

To be quite honest, for now I'm focused more on winning football matches and staying concentrated on that side of things.

"It depends on Arsenal", he added. I'm very grateful to everyone here.

"If people want to go to China, they go to China".

"I enjoy the relationship with the fans". I want to win, and I want to achieve my objectives more for them.

"Alexis continued to reiterate how happy he is to be at Arsenal, saying, ".

Arsenal's opening offer of £180,000 per week is a healthy increase on the Chilean's current deal worth £130,000.

Arsene Wenger is confident Arsenal can provide Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil with sufficient finances as contract talks with the pair go on. Sanchez has scored 14 goals and laid on eight assists in 22 appearances, and helped Arsenal top their Champions League group to qualify for the last-16 as well as maintain their title challenge - though Tuesday's defeat by Everton came as a setback that leaves them six points adrift of leaders Chelsea.

But Wenger, who was once again prickly when pushed further on contract news for the key duo, remained unmoved when asked if the situation could affect Sanchez and Ozil on the pitch - Arsenal are at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday.
