Yesterday, rap diva Nicki Minaj applauded some praise Boosie gave her in light of a publicized Remy Ma dispute. "My grandmother always told me to never speak ill of the dead".
When pressed further, she divulged some of what sparked her to record "Shether".
"Already took a L, now you got another one/I secure the bag, now I got another one/I caught the W, now I got another one", Remy rapped.
Naturally, the Internet went berserk.
Nicki hasn't responded to "Another One", either, but Remy has not shown any signs of abandoning this fight. "What bothered me was the behind the scenes thing".
The rapper, who was pointedly wearing funeral attire, alleged that Minaj made attempts to prevent her from appearing on red carpets and winning awards and dragged her recent album sales. The fact that she hasn't retaliated by releasing her own diss song has somewhat discredited Nicki Minaj's comments claiming that she's unstoppable and untouchable. Remy also said Minaj has a reputation for disrespecting women in the industry, including Lil' Kim and Mariah Carey, and added "Shether" was never about them battling musically.
But after an appearance on "The Wendy Williams Show" Friday, the "All the Way Up" rapper revealed that wasn't the truth.
"Why you anxious about lil' old me over here?"
Today, Remy came out with "Another One" which is, as the title implies, another diss track aimed towards Nicki. "To me, the record that she did..."
"This person, just based on what I'm witnessing, is not a nice person", Ma told host Williams.
