Gerber Products Company announced that it has issued a voluntary recall for one of the "Pasta Pick-Ups" products. As a result, the statement says, Gerber has voluntarily removed the product from retail and online stores. While egg is listed in the ingredients, it is not listed in the "contains" statement meant to better inform customers about potential allergy risks.

No illnesses have yet to been reported due to an allergic reaction to egg. All other Gerber products, including other Gerber® Pasta Pick-Ups® varieties, are appropriately labeled. "Egg" is listed in the ingredient list. On updated packages, this information can be found in the "Contains" statement as well as the ingredient list.

Parents who have questions are asked to contact the company 24-hours a day, seven days a week at 800-510-7494.

No other baby foods sold by New Jersey-based Gerber Products Co. are included in the voluntary recall.
