Beauty and the Beast has been seemingly taking over almost ever aspect of our lives as of late, from our music with its killer soundtrack (which features the likes of Celine Dion, Ariana Grande, AND John Legend), to our beauty products with its themed skincare. I knew I had to do the work. Belle is a princess who falls in love with her captor- The Beast.

In an interview with Sirius XM, the starlet explained that filming commitments in the United Kingdom meant she could not give herself to La La Land which was, of course, filmed in Los Angeles.

Emma Watson, along with Miles Teller, was rumored to have been cast in Damien Chazelle's La La Land when it was first announced.

Composer Alan Menken asked Dion, who sang "Beauty and the Beast" in the 1991 animated film with Peabo Bryson, to sing another original ballad for the new movie. "And I had to be where I had to be, and scheduling conflict wise it just didn't work out".

Beauty and the Beast (check out our review here) is out in Irish cinemas in exactly one week.

"To see the audience laughing in all the right places, to see them applauding all the musical numbers that we shot in a bubble, with nobody clapping because they didn't want to ruin the take".

Beauty and the Beast, meanwhile, has been facing protests from some theatres owners for featuring a gay character. Today, Ariana Grande and John Legend performed the title track for the new film's soundtrack, which was also released on March 10.
