The midfielder confessed his love for the club and wants to keep playing for Guardiola

Yaya Toure's agent has revealed he has opened negotiations with other clubs over the Manchester City midfielder's future.

'If we get a good offer from another club we will sign immediately, ' Seluk told Sky Sports ahead of City's clash with Liverpool at the weekend. "Why not! I know José Mourinho very well and Yaya has previously played with Ibrahimovic in Barcelona".

'Definitely. I love this football club, ' Toure replied when asked if he wanted to stay on at City.

"We know what we want, the fans as well, the club, the chairman, and what I have to do is my best, try to achieve everything and to help this club for as long as possible. But we can not wait until the last minute". Now we have three options.

Seluk said he expected Toure to leave in the summer and suggested he could cross Manchester to play for City's closest rivals. I'm not talking about China or the Major Soccer League. The Ivory coast star has two months and a half left in his contract with the Premier League giants and Pep Guardiola is not going to offer him a contract extension.

Toure explained he retained a dialogue with Guardiola throughout his absence from the first-team and credited the 46-year-old's honest approach for bringing about an upturn in form following a lacklustre 2015-16 under Manuel Pellegrini. I have spoken with clubs in different countries - Italy and Spain. After that, if Manchester City want, they can start negotiations.

Manchester City crashed out of the Champions League competition on away goals to Ligue 1 team Monaco after they struck late to seal a thrilling victory, which ended 6-6 on aggregate.
