Quoting Prime Minister, Mr Gadkari said, the EVM issue is latest product of these manufacturing units and the party should not focus on such small manufactured issues and focus on the development.

BJP's success in Manipur also proves that people's trust in policies of the Modi government has reached the far-flung areas of the country as it did not enjoy much support in north eastern states earlier, the resolution said. BJP president Amit Shah is set to return to Odisha to hold booth-level meetings of BJP workers.

Its win in the state polls was due to the Modi government's pro-poor and welfare policies, Shah said, reaffirming that the prime minister was the most popular leader since Independence. "This was pitched by the Prime Minister", Gadkari said.

In his inaugural address at the BJP's two-day national executive here, he also asserted that the party's "golden era" would arrive when it rules across the country, from panchayats to Parliament. He introduced a new political thought for new India which is aimed at achieving socio-economic equality in line with Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay's Antyodaya vision; his vision is directed towards Four Es - Ethics, Economy, Ecology and Environment.

Addressing media, Union HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar said the last three years of BJP-led central government under Modi's leadership has led India down the path of fast and sustainable economic development.

"Our Muslim sisters deserve justice".

The Congress leader further said the Prime Minister had visited the State many times and each time the people of the State expected a lot from the Prime Minister but he had disappointed them every time.

The Gujarat visit comes close on the heels of the prime minister's trip to Odisha. As the Prime Minister's 9 km-long roadshow passed through the main road connecting the airport and the Raj Bhavan, the air was rent with the chants of'Modi.Modi','Bharat Mata Ki Jai'and'Bande Mataram'.

Accusing the opposition of concocting issues, Modi said: "It seems the opposition manufactures these issues in some factories". Two years before the general elections in 2019, BJP leaders have identified 164 Lok Sabha seats where the party needs to improve its tally.

Strong criticism was also directed at the opposition, which has questioned the security features of Electronic Voting Machines following the BJP's sweeping victory in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand in the recent round of assembly elections. In Surat city, the BJP had won all 12 seats in the 2012 Legislative Assembly election whereas it had lost Mandvi (ST) seat out of the total seven seats in Surat district.
