Jay-Z Opens Up About Beyonce's "LEMONDADE" & Kanye in Rare Interview

Jay-Z Opens Up About Beyonce's

"You got hurt because this guy was talking about you on a stage", Jay said. "We've gotten past bigger issues, but you brought my family into it, now it's a problem with me". But you brought my family into it and now it's a problem with me. It is a real, real problem.

The original line from "The Story of O.J." off of Jay-Z's new-ish 4:44 album reads, "Y'all holdin' money to your ear / There's a disconnect, we don't call that money over here".

Jay made his comments on the Rap Radar podcast on the rapper's streaming service TIDAL Thursday, marking his first remarks about Kanye's rant and his first interview since the June 30 release of his album 4:44.

He said in the show, "Beyonce, I was hurt because I heard that you said you wouldn't perform unless you won Video of the Year over me and over 'Hotline Bling" ... sometimes we be playing the politics too much and forget who we are just to win.

Apparently issues with JAY-Z came to a head for Kanye previous year when he launched into multiple rants during concerts about Hova and his wife, Beyonce, and lamented the fact that their kids never played together. Jay-Z, I know you got killers.

Kanye has not responded to Jay-Z's remarks. Talk to me like a man. I've been sent here, at the risk of my own life, at the risk of my own career, to give ya'll the truth. It just so happens, who we are, these things go into a different space, but it ain't nothing.

"We've always had a great relationship", the rapper told the Rap Radar podcast about him and Solange.

'Jay Z, call me bro, you still ain't call me. You can't name one time I [held] people back.

And Kim is said to feel particularly aggrieved with the situation because Beyonce and Jay have never "given her a chance".

According to Hov, he and Kayne have had series of arguments but 'Ye crossed a line with him during his infamous rant at his concert previous year. Especially being an older rapper, he says that he began studying timeless artists before he got into recording the project. I can't address that in a real way. But the whole point is, 'You got hurt because this person was talking about you on a stage, ' he said. It was a line to say, that could happen to me in my future.

It takes a pretty strong and patient person to be BFF's with Kanye West and his ego, but we hope these two can grow close once again.
