Calm, sunny Sunday expected, more thunderstorms to follow

Monday will see isolated showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon on an otherwise mostly-sunny day. Heat index values as high as 98. Southwest wind 5 to 10 miles per hour.

Sunday Night - A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 11pm. North wind 5 to 10 miles per hour.

After another sunny day Sunday with a high around 90, Monday could start off with some rain and clouds. As the eclipse ends, temperatures will rise back into the upper 80s, approaching 90. It will be a bit breezy with winds out of the west, gusting around 20 miles per hour.

Tuesday: Occasional showers before 3pm, then occasional showers and thunderstorms between 3pm and 4pm, then occasional showers after 4pm. The one exception to the mainly dry rule would be the chance for a stray pop-up shower or thunderstorm late Saturday, especially points north and west towards the Poconos and the I-80 corridor. Lows in the lower 70s. South, southeast wind around 7 miles per hour. Partly cloudy, with a low around 47. Highs will be in the lower 90s with south winds ranging from 5 to 10 miles per hour. Scattered showers and storms will be possible Tuesday and some heavy rain will be possible too. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent.

Good Friday. We are looking at a few light showers this morning as a front moves through. Otherwise, the night will be mostly cloudy, with a low around 62.
