It was just a few years ago that Justin Bieber was seen sparring at the Mayweather Boxing Club in Las Vegas and walking Floyd Mayweather to the ring for major boxing events. He reportedly starting referring to Justin as a "traitor' because while he stuck with Justin during his infamous meltdown, it was apparent that Justin wasn't returning the favor".
Since becoming a devout follower of the Hillsong Church, Bieber has turned to the organisation for guidance and it's alleged that the 23-year-old has been advised to step away from bad influences in his life. "We're told church pastors did not single out Floyd as a bad influence, but Justin decided on his own he needed some distance".
It is not known yet who will walk Mayweather out to the ring this weekend against McGregor - but the leading tip thus far for his entrance song and walk out has been rap artist Little Wayne.
Mayweather was reportedly not singled out by the Church, but Bieber made a decision to distance himself because he wanted to "reset boundaries" to get away "from things like Floyd's obsession with strip clubs".
Mayweather recently appeared on Jimmy Kimmel and was asked if Bieber would be by his side for this Saturday's fight against Conor McGregor.
While Mayweather was not mentioned categorically, Bieber is said to be having a cull and "reset boundaries".
