In case you haven't had a good cry yet today, Sam Smith just released the "Too Good At Goodbyes" music video and it's sure to make you ugly cry.
In anticipation of his newest work, Smith recently shared an open letter with fans.
The video evokes such emotion that you feel as though you are right beside Sam, feeling everything that he is feeling in that moment.
"Too Good At Goodbyes" is the first new music from Smith since the release of his Oscar and Golden Globe-winning "Writing's On The Wall", the James Bond theme song for Spectre. It is everything we had hoped it would be and so much more, and if you haven't watched it yet then you are really missing out.
The tear-jerking video, directed by Luke Monaghan, appears to begin in some kind of home studio, with Sam singing alongside a pianist accompaniment. Sam's closest competition on today's Official Chart Update (Sept 18) is Dua Lipa, whose former Number 1 New Rules now sits at 2 and is 2,000 combined sales behind.
And we have to congratulate Sam Smith for keeping up with his health.
