In behind-the-scenes footage shared exclusively with PEOPLE from the Grammy winner's record-breaking "Look What You Made Me Do" music video, the star, 27, meets all the extras who play her former selves. In the video, a number of versions of Taylor over the years all come together to form a mountain of clawing, raging young ladies. "LWYMMD" is the video that just keeps on keeping on. "We started playing I'm Too Sexy and it just morphed into a live mash-up with Taylor Swift's Look What You Made Me Do - it sounded great so we chose to record and film it!" In the video, Swift doesn't hesitate to admit that the set is the trippiest thing she's ever seen.
"Seeing all of them together is the weirdest feeling, but it's awesome", she tells the camera about meeting her doppelgangers. But we're having a great time. We're just chatting about life. "That's got to look weird".
"That's the most popular one", she says of "sea anemone".
Swift was filled to the brim with goofy one-liners and physical humor, even during the dramatic fight scene with her former selves. "Which these girls are so wonderful to, like, do that", she laughs. Can I hit her in the face with my "13"? "And it turns out that top hats aren't the best wardrobe for fighting". I have no experience with home invasion but, you know, you just gotta follow the muse.
