Shadow of the Colossus will be released for PS4 in 2018.
The PS4 remake of Shadow of the Colossus continues to impress.
A brand new trailer for the Shadow of the Colossus remake has been released for Tokyo Game Show 2017.
Though it may look like a standard video game, "Shadow of the Colossus" is anything but - the character you see above is who you play as, and he's got an objective: Take down enormous monsters.
The "Shadow of the Colossus" remake is said to be exclusive for PlayStation 4 users. Shuhei Yoshida later promised this is a full remake - that is, the game will be the same as the 2005 classic on PlayStation 2, but all the assets will be remade. The conference doesn't start for a few more days, but Sony loves to kick off TGS with their PlayStation conference, an event focused on Japan but which usually includes a handful of announcements we'll see here in the west, as well.
In the meantime, fans can get an inkling of what it will be like to play "Shadow of the Colossus" through modern day consoles. It's considered to be one of the most powerful testaments to the games as art debate and has influenced countless other titles.
This is the theoretically the third release of Shadow of the Colossus after the PS2 original followed by the PS3 remaster. It will not debut for Xbox One and Windows PC.
