Outside a few fair weather clouds we will be mostly sunny, with daytime highs in the upper 80s to near 90 degrees.
WEDNESDAY: Mostly sunny, with a high near 84. The storm is expected to move far enough east today that the clouds will depart and the breeze will come down a bit.
Sunday is looking sunny and warm with highs staying in the low to upper 80s.

Friday will be mostly sunny with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms. Although the current National Hurricane Center (NHC) forecast cone keeps a slowly weakening Maria over the open water through mid-week, it remains too big and too strong to relax just yet. There is a cold front that will help steer Maria out into the open Atlantic by the end of the week.
As you get around this morning, temperatures will start out in the mid-60s for many of you with clear skies and possibly some patchy fog as well. The record high for the Greater Hartford Area for September 24 is 89 degrees, set in 1959. Daytime high: upper 80s/ near 90°.
