Attack on Titan 2 releases in Japan in early 2018 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. An announcement trailer was released last month, but details were short until today. This was probably to be expected, since Attack on Titan is one of the most popular anime properties this side of the big pond at the moment. According to the game's website, there are plenty of original characters to meet in the game. The sequel will most likely more than double that. Koei Tecmo also state that they have focused a great deal on making sure the combat is as fluid and exciting as it is in the anime. The game itself will incorporate more RPG-style elements. Developers have improved movement to make it "omni-directional". What we don't get is a release date, which Keoi Tecmo promises is information that it will share "at a later date".
Building on the fast-paced action the series is famous for, and featuring an abundance of new gameplay mechanics, the gripping sequel will be released across America as Attack on Titan 2 in early 2018.
KOEI TECMO America is excited to unveil today that ATTACK ON TITAN 2, the sequel to 2016's titanic action game, Attack on Titan, is now in development for physical release on the PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system, and Xbox One, the all-in-one games and entertainment system from Microsoft, Nintendo Switch, and digitally on Windows PC via Steam.
