Google's Pixel 2 makes strong case as top iPhone 8 challenger

The 5-incher Pixel 2 phone listed on the Google Store is the basic 64GB model exclusive from Verizon. But if you've got your eye on the Pixel 2 XL, you'll need to shell out an extra ₹12,000 for the 64GB variety, which now costs ₹73,000, while the 128GB version will set you back a whopping ₹82,000. Both the phones will come with Android 8.0 Oreo mobile operating system.

So which should you buy? While iPhone 8 and 8 Plus delivered with major advancements expected of Apple yearly, the relatively new Pixel 2 and Pixel XL are making waves as the top android phone to challenge the dominance of the iPhone. Afterward, buyers will just have to key in the details at T-Mobile's validation page, and they'll receive a MasterCard prepaid that's worth $325 by mail. In order to be eligible, you must be the original owner of the phone. Google has released official sample pictures taken with the Pixel 2 which includes portrait mode photos, motion images, and landscape images. The credit will be applied to the user's account over a 24-month period. Of course, the vast majority of this is speculation, and Google has made no confirmation of what it might be selling at its short-lived stores.

In this action-packed scenario, it will be interesting to see who among the two - Verizon or T-Mobile US - wins the battle with the maximum number of subscribers and more revenues. All they have to do is add a line of either T-Mobile ONE or Simple Choice Unlimited.

Verizon is offering up to $300 off the Pixel 2 phone, when bought from Verizon's device payment, along with a Google Home Mini for free. We find this intriguing because it's not even two weeks since Google has officially announced the next-gen Pixel smartphones.
