Does the IMAX standee for The Last Jedi feature a major spoiler?

The trailer will debut during halftime of tonight's Monday Night Football game between the Chicago Bears and Minnesota Vikings on ESPN. Yesterday we got an IMAX poster for the hotly-anticipated second chapter of the Sequel Trilogy, and now we have a look at an IMAX theater display, which seemingly teases a potential turn to the Dark Side for Luke Skywalker...

Today the world will see the official trailer for "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" and have its first opportunity at purchasing tickets.

"Star Wars: The Last Jedi" features Daisy Ridley as Rey, who is studying under Jedi Luke Skywalker, played by Mark Hamill. Luke Skywalker? Also of note: It's Luke, not Snoke, standing over the Dark Side villains.

As with most Photoshop Battles, things got a little weird and very niche as users started playing off of each other's Photoshops and also infused their creations with references that only others in the community would understand, but overall it was a amusing and epic thread that I'm happy exists. But the IMAX standee is the first time we've seen Luke actually depicted on the opposite and ominous side of the Force.

ILM and Lucasfilm have been very good with paying close attention with these movies, and ultimately it's the little things like this that make the Star Wars universe have its lived-in feel that connected to so many people. It definitely seems more possible than it used to.
