Then again, cast turnover is the one constant on Legends of Tomorrow, which has always been meant to have a rotating group of characters.
The spinoff to Arrow and The Flash, DC's Legends Of Tomorrow, may have had a rocky start, but there is no denying that it eventually became just as loved as the other shows in the Arrowverse. The cast also includes Brandon Routh, Arthur Darvill, Wentworth Miller, Dominic Purcell, Caity Lotz, Franz Drameh, Nick Zano, and Maisie Richardson-Sellers.
The question now is how the show plans to allow his character, Martin Stein, to gracefully exit the show when he's one half a whole where Firestorm is concerned? TV have yet to comment on the news, Garber's imminent departure was inadvertently made clear in September when it was revealed that Garber would return to Broadway to star in the Tony-winning revival of "Hello, Dolly!". Entertainment Weekly notes that Garber and Peters will be replacing David Hyde Pierce and Bette Midler in the musical.
Garber's departure seems to have been planned ahead of time, as the door was cracked open for his exit in this week's Season 3 premiere. It's hard to imagine him simultaneously working on a primetime network show, which has its own demanding schedule. Back then, Stein's Firestorm partner was Ronnie Raymond (Robbie Amell). Doing that while filming a primetime series is virtually impossible, especially when the show is produced 3,000 miles away as is the case with the Vancouver-based Legends Of Tomorrow.
