'The Punisher' Reveals Premiere Date in Gripping New Trailer

Fans who have been anxiously counting down the days until The Punisher Season 1 premieres on Netflix finally have a timetable for when to expect the show's first season to premiere - aka when they should plan on calling in "sick".

The Punisher seeks retribution and skirts assassination attempts in the gripping new trailer for Marvel and Netflix's upcoming series, The Punisher, which premieres November 17th.

This announcement came in the form of a new trailer, which gave us some more information about the plot of the series. Known throughout New York City as The Punisher, Frank must discover the truth about injustices that affect more than his family alone. He's also a hunted man thanks to his participation in a covert military operation that's alluded to early in the trailer. In doing so, however, he uncovers a vast conspiracy that runs deep into the NY criminal underworld.

Netflix had long teased the fall premiere with a series of promos that "censored" the date, leading to some frustration among fans. The drama is produced by Marvel Television in association with ABC Studios for Netflix.

November just got a whole lot more interesting!

The show also features Deborah Ann Woll, reprising her role as Karen Page from Daredevil and The Defenders, along with Ben Barnes (Westworld) and Ebon Moss-Bachrach (Girls).

This latest trailer confirms one thing we already knew: "The Punisher" will be dark, dark, dark.
