'Fashion Police' canceled, to air farewell special in November

We are also especially grateful to Melissa, as well as Giuliana, Brad, Nene, Margaret and the entire "Fashion Police' team, who have continued to deliver the laughs and make this iconic franchise truly one of a kind".

Ending its run after more than two decades, the Fashion Police: The Farewell special hosted by Melissa Rivers will include footage from a previously unseen episode featuring show co-creator and long-running host Joan Rivers.

Rivers left E! for the TV Guide Channel, but returned in 2010 to formally launch Fashion Police in its current form.

At the time, many people, co-host Giuliana Rancic included, questioned the fate of the show, which had become so synonymous with Rivers' brand of humor. The most recent special aired in September and covered the Primetime Emmy Awards. But first, Fashion Police will say goodbye with a farewell special that'll pay tribute to late host Joan Rivers.

So now, as the show finally takes its final walk down the runway, we'll choose to remember it as Joan would have wanted us to: All about her.

Fashion Police is produced by Wilshire Studios.

From celebrity appearances and never-before-seen moments with the late, great Joan Rivers, the finale is going to be a show fans won't want to miss as we all celebrate the great run the show has had.

The finale will air November 27.

What are your thoughts on the show coming to an end?

"I am so proud to have been a part of this show and am so proud that it's part of my mother's legacy", Melissa Rivers told Variety.

Fashion Police was helmed by the legendary comedian since its inception in 1995, covering every major award show and fashion event with Joan's signature sharp wit.
