An airman based at Warren Air Force Base in Cheyenne, Wyoming, was among those involved in the early-morning shooting at an apartment complex near Colorado State University on Thursday, a spokeswoman said Friday. The shooting suspect is included among the dead. A team of counselors will be available for walk-in support to anyone who needs it at the Lory Student Center Cherokee Park Room 2 p.m. -8 p.m. today. Jones told the Post police were still trying to find a motive for the shooting, and that the department was "not ruling out a love triangle".
The coroner's office said that the identities of the other two victims will be released Friday. Police believe the suspect "likely knew at least one of the victims".
The scene of the crime was cordoned off by yellow police tape.
"We are deeply saddened by this bad loss to our campus community and will share more information as we have it", the university said in an email to students and faculty. "She called 911 and said that within minutes, police vehicles were swarming the area".
The CSU student killed in the incident has been identified as Savannah McNealy.
The Fort Collins Coloradoan reports McNealy was studying liberal arts, art and art history.
The shooting happened outside of an apartment building northwest of the Colorado State campus. But her Facebook page suggests that she's originally from Denver. Tony Frank said in a statement.
Savannah McNealy, 22, was among those dead, reported Daily Mail. I'm a good bro, too. Thursday's shooting occurred outside an apartment complex about a mile west of CSU.
I've been sent out of college, with honors and such, on the search for the American Dream.
