"Sadio Mane has resumed individual training and will probably resume full training next week", Senegal coach Aliou Cisse told a news conference.
The pacy forward has been out since suffering a hamstring injury on worldwide duty earlier this month, missing Liverpool's 0-0 draw with Manchester United and a 7-0 Champions League thrashing of Maribor.
Mane was tipped to be ruled out for at least six weeks after picking up the injury earlier this month while on worldwide duty, but he has been included in Senegal's squad for their World Cup qualifiers in the second week of November.
The 25-year-old is still training indoors after suffering a hamstring injury on global duty earlier this month but he was named in Cisse's squad for their matches against South Africa in mid-November.
A Liverpool side without Sadio Mané may be able to inflict untold suffering on NK Maribor, but the 25-year-old makes this side sharper in tandem with Mohamed Salah.
"He is indoor and was not even [doing] any exercises outside".
"They have very important games, or at least one-Senegal need one point from two games, I think, to qualify".
"If he's fit, we cannot hide him. we can do nothing to keep him".
"So I can imagine they feel the pressure a little bit, but we cannot change the situation". Senegal have stuck with the same squad that beat the Cape Verdians, including West Ham United striker Diafra Sakho who returned to the national team and scored in the victory in Praia.
