Nagarjuna's Annapurna Studios caught in massive fire incident in Hyderabad

Four fire engines were rushed to doused the fire at the studio owned by the family of popular actor Akkineni Nagarjuna in posh Banjara Hills.

A major fire broke out in the Annapurna studios in Hyderabad on Monday evening.

Akkineni Nagarjuna's Annapurna Studios was caught in a awful fire incident in Hyderabad on Monday event. "It also had solar panels on it", Nagarjuna said, adding he had no clue if the set had insurance or not. The set was empty when the incident happened. The fire officials said no casualties were reported. The sources revealed that there are no reports of loss of life but one of the sets related to Manam movie along with Chiranjeevi's Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy new movie sets underwent damage. Another fire officer said a short-circuit may have caused the blaze, though the exact cause is being investigated. The studio was named after the veteran actor's wife - Annapurna Akkineni.

Annapurna Studios was established in 1975 by the late Telugu actor Nageswara Rao Akkineni. part from producing and distributing films, it also provides other facilities that vary from editing, dubbing, outdoor sets, sets construction.
