Warner has released details of upcoming free content updates for Middle-earth: Shadow of War.
Interactive Entertainment has announced plans to keep their latest game, Middle-earth: Shadow of War, going with tons of new content releasing over the next few months.
The Middle-earth: Shadow of War Expansion Pass is now available for $39.99, or included as part of the Shadow of War Gold Edition for $99.99. In amongst these freebies are new modes and a new difficulty level.
Additionally, release dates have now been announced for the Slaughter Tribe Nemesis Expansion (Available Nov. 21) and the Outlaw Tribe Nemesis Expansion (Available Dec. 12), both of which are part of the Middle-earth: Shadow of War Expansion Pass.
An Enhanced Photo Mode update will arrive alongside Endless Siege and Rebellion on 21st November, adding new filters, frames and textures. In this new mode, you'll be able to challenge the Orc followers of other players, pitting Overlord against Overlord in a bid to obtain powerful rewards and upgrades. The expansion can also be purchased separately for $14.99.
All of the that is packed into the Middle-earth: Shadow of War Expansion Pass, which costs $40/£32.99. A new "Brutal' difficulty ups the stakes-more challenging than Nemesis, "with no last chances". Warner Bros.' press release says there'll be more free content, which will likely arrive in early 2018. Those will be followed up early next year by two story expansions. The Desolation of Mordor Story Expansion (Available May 2018) can be purchased à la carte for $19.99.
