Manny Pacquiao teases possible fight versus Conor McGregor

McGregor, 28, fought Floyd Mayweather Junior in Las Vegas in a bout which gave the two fighters some of the highest earnings in boxing history. Pacquiao wrote to McGregor: "Happy Thanksgiving!".

Rumours of the pair perhaps getting it on in a boxing ring had circled earlier this year but after the whole Mayweather vs McGregor fight was announced, they died down pretty quickly. After suffering a 10th-round TKO defeat to Mayweather, the mixed martial arts fighter made it crystal clear that he would consider a return to the square circle.

If you thought all the talk about Conor McGregor boxing again was done, at least for a little while, think again.

Pacquiao (59-7-2, 38KOs) last fought in July of 2017, figuring in a controversial unanimous decision loss to Jeff Horn in Brisbane, Australia.

Earlier, Oscar Dela Hoya said he is willing to come out of retirement to fight the UFC star, even saying he can KO him in two rounds.

Australian promoter Dean Lonergan recently teased the idea of drawing Conor McGregor to Australia. At least, for McGregor's next fight anyways... Seemingly, such responsibilities might not get in the way of a bout with McGregor.
