'Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales' Sails To

The fifth Pirates of the Caribbean franchise movie earned $77 million over the four-day weekend. The film had a production budget of $230 million and is well on its way to making that back. Since the franchise still makes money (even if USA grosses are dwindling) this may not be the last we see of Captain Sparrow. Paramount was hoping to cash-in on the start of the summer with " Baywatch ", but it looks like sandwiching the film between " Guardians 2 " and " Wonder Woman " was a bad idea.

The injured also included a police officer who was one of the first responders on the scene and was stabbed in the face and leg. The City of London Corporation said there were "no current plans" to install bollards on the historic structure on Friday - ahead of the attack which left six dead and 48 injured .

Lifeboats on the River Thames helped evacuate the area. Police also said they were responding to another incident in the Vauxhall area, over a mile away, but police later said that incident wasn't connected to the other two attacks. Eyewitnesses described the moment three men started attacking random passers-by in the popular food stall with 10in blades , with one witness claiming a woman's throat had been cut.

Armed officers from the Metropolitan Police and the City of London Police arrived at Borough Market within moments, and shot and killed the three suspects. At least seven people were killed after the attack and dozens more were hurt. Britain's terror threat was lowered back to "severe", which meant that an attack was highly likely.
