Kush, a three-year letterwinner (1950-52) at MSU under coach Biggie Munn, played on the defensive line during the Spartans' undefeated seasons in 1951 and 1952. Kush was 88-years old. Kush coached 38 All-Americans and 128 of players he coached went on to play in the NFL. He went on to make stops with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the CFL, Baltimore Colts of the National Football League and Arizona Outlaws of the USFL, but Kush never matched the consistent success he found with the Sun Devils.
