Ray Pfeifer, firefighter, voice for 9/11 health care, dies

A retired New York City firefighter who spent months at the World Trade Center site digging through debris and then fought for health care for first responders even when wracked with late-stage cancer has died. Raymond Pfeifer along with comedian Jon Stewart and few others went to Congress to challenge lawmakers to extend health monitoring and treatment for September 2011 first responders in 2015.
