Avast said the majority of the attacks targeted Russia, Ukraine and Taiwan - though exactly which computers in those areas were targeted remains fuzzy. The U.K.'s National Cyber Security Center says it is working with both the digital office of the NHS and law enforcement. Authorities said they were communicating with more than 100 energy, transportation, telecommunications and financial services providers about the attack.
