Capping a legacy that stretches back to the legendary 19th century showman P.T. Barnum, the circus bids farewell at a series of shows this weekend at newly refurbished Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale on New York's Long Island. The Sarasota based company has been the home to the circus since the 1920's and many members of the community will be watching tonight. 2 canoers find man's body in Taunton River

A preliminary investigation identifies the body as that of a 40-year-old male. It had apparently been in the water for an extended period of time. Access to the river in this location off of Power Street is limited. The body was taken by the medical examiner's office. The identity of the man and the cause and manner of death weren't immediately known. Taunton Police Detectives and the Massachusetts State Police are investigating.

We continue to monitor North Korea's actions closely. The United Nations Security Council met behind closed doors last Tuesday to discuss tightening sanctions on North Korea after its May 14 launch.
